You can’t trust the sheets! Whether you’re going to the tropics or somewhere not quite as hot then a silk sleeping bag liner is an absolute must.
Now you’ve done your research on the destination you will be backpacking you will no doubt have to buy certain products that will come in very handy on the road. For example:
- If you’re going somewhere hot and humid like Thailand, it would be a good idea to have some decent breathable clothing.
- If you’re going somewhere cold like Canada in the winter then a good quality thermal fleece and jacket will be essential.
- If you’re going somewhere wet like India in the rainy season then a light weight
waterproof jacket will make your travels far more comfortable.
OK, so you might say this is all very obvious but you’d be surprised with the amount of backpackers who arrive at Bangkok Airport with winter clothing!
